The joys of late night travel for Committe Members
Here's a little tale from one of our committee members, Colin Shoveller on the joys of late night flights...
...Ross and I had the journey from hell!!! The plane was delayed due to operational problems. We should have taken off at 22:55, but we had to wait until 01:35. We were entertained at the airport by the worst kind of behaviour you would wish to see, where two sets of couples were verbally abusing each other - the language made me blush (and we kept our heads down). Landing at the furthest outpost at Gatwick, we dashed through miles of corridors, past passport control etc, to have to wait 5 minutes for the shuttle taking us from the north terminal to south terminal, and thence to the trains, only to find that Ross made his train with 2 minutes to spare and I didn't, so I had to wait another hour for the next one. It took me until 08:30 to arrive home. Almost 12 hours after leaving the resort, and a combined waiting time of 5 and a half hours! New committee members...please note it is not always fun and laughter! :)

Become a Member of the Club Vista Serena Committe!
Are you a Member of Club Vista Serena? Would you like to become a member of the Club's Committee? It's easy...all you have to do is submit your nomination in writing to the offices of the Club, together with a CV outlining any skills you may have which would be of benefit to the Club. All nominees must be seconded by another Member. This may be done in writing prior to the next AGM or at the meeting itself from the floor. All nominees must be present at the meeting.
It is preferable that you submit your nomination around February/March time next year, so it can be discussed in the Committee meeting before the AGM later in the year.

Rate and Review Club Vista Serena!
This is for those of you that have been with us here on the resort...you've had a taste of Club Vista Serena, you've seen and experienced what we have to offer, so let others know about it!Here you've got a photo of me and Lynda Scott. "Hi Rachel, sorry we didn't see you before we left. We had a great time as usual. Just 1 complaint...time goes too quickly! We would like to thank everyone...maintenance crew, cleaners (especially Nico), the bar staff - Diego, Joanna, Carlos, and of course Miguel, all the reception staff who are always so helpful, and all the girls in the office, especially YOU ! A special thank you to Tony (i told him i'd remember !). We hope to be back very soon, it's like our 2nd home. Take care, loads of love lynda and norman x x
